Papa von Papenburg is a very handsome 2 year old German Shepherd.  Although he is rather unsure in the busy kennel environment and may start a bit shy, given time he does appreciate affection and attention and will bond with his people.  He is a pleasure to walk on leash, including alongside other dogs. If another dog growls or snaps at him, mature Papa knows to ignore such lack of manners. Although he’s a bit shy when encountering new people and environments, he is aware of his surroundings. At home you will never see Papa watching the Olympics -- athletics is not his thing. This affectionate boy would rather hang out with his people and enjoy the peacefulness of a Zen garden. When it comes to doggie playgroups, Papa enters them shyly and slowly. He meets other dogs well but does not like the pushy ones in his face.  Papa is all about his people and will complete a family that offers a tranquil home atmosphere.
